PROJECT 1
My chosen celebrity was Elton John.  The project involved space planning and designing a master bedroom and en-sutite, located near the sea in the exclusive area of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France.

Plan view and spatial planning of bedroom & bathroom : The aim was to create a space that was aesthetically pleasing, functional and safe.  The furniture behind the red sofa in the bedroom is a massage chair that Elton can use to destress and relax his muscles after his long flight.

Axonometric drawing of bedroom and bathroom : Elton's favourite designer was Gianni Versace.  Hence I created this Italian themed bedroom with a sense of romance, drama and flamboyancy  that reflected Elton's personality.

PROJECT 2
A commercial project - "The Prince Regent Pub and Dining Room" at 25, Gloucester Road, London

This project had a budget of 30K.  It involved refurbishmet of the exterior and interior of the pub in order to, improve the apperance and functionality of the space and spatial planning so that seating capacity can be incresed by 10%.

Pub interior before refurbishment : The low natural light levels and muted colours made the pub interiors feel cold and uninviting.

Elevation of pub front : "Algerian" font was used for the new pub sign and the facade was painted with a vibrant Regency  red to match the new interior.

Perspective drawing of The Prince Regent Pub and Drawing Room : I used vibrant colours for the interior design as I felt it would sit comfortably within this large interior space to make it feel warm and inviting during the day.  The jewel like colours would also show up subtly in the evening against the dimmed lighting to create an intimate yet an energising environment.

Section drawing of The Prince Regent Pub : I have used the red banquet seat and red chimney breast to balance the red wall in the front part of the pub.  Four large pendent lights in the back create an intimate setting for evening diners.

Plan view and seating plan for The Prince Regent Pub : The seating capacity has been increased in the bar area from 40 to 50 by placing 4 adjustable portable black leather bar tables each having a red and a cream chair.  These can be lowered in the day time to be used as dining tables and chairs.  Near the booth seating an extra table wth two chairs are place at an angle.  At the back of the pub in the restaurant area a total of 5 extra seating has been created by placing a large round table with two extra seating and a square table with three extra chairs.

PROJECT 3
High end residential project - Candy & Candy project, Rutland House, Rutland Gardens, Knightsbridge.

Candy & Candy wanted Rutland House, (a large Victorian house) to be converted into a single luxurious private residence for a very wealthy and busy family.  The requirement was for the discreet use of latest technology and very high end and bespoke design.

The areas to be re-furbished was the reception hall, reception room, bar/ smoking room, games and media room.

Reception hall before refurbishment

Perspective view of reception hall after refurbishment - The floor is of marble with granite inlay.  Walls are polish plaster and staircase has sculptured polish plaster.  Up lights on the stairs high light the wave effect on the wall.  The far window has glass art wich lets light in but blocks the dead view of the out side wall.

Reception room before refurbishment

Isometric drawing of reception room after refurbishment - There is an  embassadorial feel to the room with seating for at least 10 people.  I used neutral colours to creat a calming effect.  The walls are covered in pearl effect polish plaster to give the room a slight shimmer.  The aquarium passes through the wall in to the dining room on the other side.  The rug is of wool with silk design which catch the light and glisten.  Mother of pearl panel in a herring bone design frame the aquarium.  The coral accent colour makes the room pop and stimulat the mind to encourage conversation.  Blue LED cove lighting also create a calming atmosphere in the evening.

Isometric drawing of games room and cinema room - Tanned leather floor in the cinema area with oak wood floor in the games area create two individual spaces in a single room.  The cinema cabinet is made of black high gloss wood that incases state of the art technology.  Behind the cinema screen which is elevated from the base of the unit is the TV.  This moves forward to be flushed with the unit when you want to watch it.  On one side of the unit is a drinks cabinet and on the other side is a fridge.  A touch screen panel which controls lighting, cinema and TV.  sits on the semi-circular coffee table in front of the sofa.

Perspective view of cinema room - The ceiling has coloured fiber optic lights.  The skirtings and cinema cabinet have LED lights.

Sofa design - For the cinema room.  Black high gloss wood panels are place on the face of the arms of the leather sofa to match the cinema unit.

Sample board for games room - With plan, elevation and perspective drawing as visuals.

Sample board for smoking room - With plan, elevation and isometric drawing of the bar unit.  The design of the rug has been taken directly from the concept image where the sea meets the sand (see the side bar for the concept image).  Eglomise glass on the elevation walls represent the lava stones in the concept image.  The concept images represent unique finishes and opulent colours.

FINAL PROJECT
High end residential project based in Sandbanks, Dorset

Perspective view of drawing room - The chimney breast has gold mother of pearl with wave like sculptured polish plaster on either sides.  The gold chimney breast makes a grand statement in this contemporary interior.

Isometric drawing of kitchen - The traditional walnut kitchen sits comfortably in the contemporary house making it feel homely.

Elevation of bespoke staircase - The staircase extended over three floors: basement, ground floor and first floor.  Made from bevelled glass, brushed brass and cherry wood.
